WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO NOW?
I have signed up to walk the Suzuki Rock-N-Roll Marathon in San Diego June 3 on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am part of Team in Training, a group that raises funds for the society and participates in either marathons or century rides.
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
I ask myself that often, especially when I am walking in the cold. The people that I will be walking for can't do this themselves. They have to suffer through chemotherapy and some are sick their entire lives. I will be training for the next 4 months for the race. Until June, I will be raising money for the society.
